@ Managing Director, GAINDE 2000, President, African Performance Institute (API)
Ibrahima Nour Eddine DIAGNE is currently the Managing Director of GAINDE 2000 and President of the African Performance Institute (API), a pan-African think tank and animation group dedicated to the promotion of digital technology.
Mr. DIAGNE capitalises more than 24 years of experience in the digital field with a particular focus on e-commerce, dematerialisation and trade facilitation. He is an expert of the United Nations and, in this capacity, served as Rapporteur for Africa of the United Nations Centre for Electronic Transactions (UN/CEFACT) from 2006 to 2018. He also founded and chaired the African Alliance for Electronic Trade (AAEC) from 2009 to 2017.
Mr. DIAGNE holds a B.sc, an MBA and an M. Sc from HEC Montréal and HEC Paris. He has a certificate from the Standford University Graduate School of Business on Transformation Management and Leadership.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of E-Futura (French Association for Digital Transformation), Assane Seck University in Ziguinchor (Senegal). He is also a member of the Academic Council of the Virtual University of Senegal and the National Digital Council (CNN) of Senegal.
He currently chairs the Steering Committee of the National Consortium for Electronic Commerce set up by the Ministry of Commerce to federate national actors around a federating initiative and a carrier of added value. His commitment focuses on positioning the continent in the digital economy and maximizing opportunities for young people in this direction.
