@ Founder, CEO, Data Functions, Initial Member, Free TON African Chapter
John Kanyiri is the founder and CEO of Data Functions, a data recovery and analysis outfit and lately doubling up into blockchain technologies. My education background includes Business Administration in IT, Certified Accountant and data recovery expert.
As an initial member of Free Ton African chapter, am involved in the management and policy formulation in projects from the Free Ton community into the main stream. Am also involved in forex and crypto markets trading and as an enthusiast in decentralized platforms, blockchain space naturally appeals to me.
In addition am involved in planning and design of Hackathons within the blockchain arena in Africa. This is an engagement with institutions of higher learning in the continent. Consequently, I am involved in mentoring young minds in getting their footing within the blockchain space.
My current position in Free Ton which involves mainly administrative duties is inspired by my involvement with Absa Bank (Formerly Barclays Bank), East African Breweries, Twiga Chemicals, Unilever (k) limited, National Bank of Kenya, Kenya Commercial Bank and Media City Consultants in projects as an Administrator.
With this in mind I have a passion to be involved in uplifting and educating the African communities in new global trends by sharing my experiences in the corporate world and currently in decentralized networks.
