B. Broka is a member of the Governing Council of the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT- Rome, Italy). The UNIDROIT is an intergovernmental organization that has been prepared and adopted several legal instruments (conventions and legislative guidance documents) within the field of capital markets and currently is working on a Guidance legislative document “Digital Assets and Private Law”. She was a member of several Law Drafting working groups in Latvia. She took a part in Drafting the Informative Notice and Legal regulation regarding digital currency and associated risks in Latvia. B. Broka has more that 20 years of an academic and scientific research experience teaching Contract Law, Consumer Law, Legal Analysis and Legal Writing. She has been a visiting lecturer in several universities in Brazil, USA, Spain, Estonia. B.Broka is a former minister of the Justice of Latvia. She has an important corporate governance experience since she has been a Chair-woman of the Supervisory Council of the International Airport of Riga, Member of the Board of the Air Navigation Service provider company of Latvia, Member of the Board of Riga Freeport Authority. She has been a Legal and Financial advisor for the real estate development projects for the Sheikh Omar Saleh Alhamdy (The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). She has a significant experience in legal matters in the field of International Business Transactions, Consumer Law and Data protection, Commercial Law, Law of Investments, Trusts, Public Private Partnership projects, Sports Law. Lately she is involved as a legal advisor in several projects of the decentralized finance like Mass Defi and others.
