Judy is the founder and National Chairlady – Association of Women in Agriculture, Kenya (AWAK) which is empowering small holder women farmers and the vulnerable slum mothers in Kenya through capacity building to become informed decision makers and key industry players.

Judy is a Steering committee member of the UNWomen/FAO Economic Empowerment of Women thru Climate smart Agriculture programme.

She is a core Committee Member of the National Agroforestry Strategy Committee – Heading the Gender Pillar,

A member of the Regional Gender and Livelihood Development Network .

She is a nominated member for Swedish International Agricultural Network Initiatives (SIANI) Steering committee

The Zuri Award winner, Agriculture Category 2021. Zuri is a platform that recognises exceptional women with outstanding performance in community development.

She is part of the National planning Team for the United Nations s Food Systems Summit 2021. Leading the Women in Food Systems Independent Dialogue – Kenya.
