Mikael Hajjar is a pan-African tech investor. He cut his first business angel checks in 2014 and lived and invested in more than 10 different African countries. Mikael co-founded a couple of years ago P1 Ventures, a $5+m Venture Capital fund focused on early-stage African FinTechs that has invested in over 10 companies that include Verto and Lami. Mikael is a dual Senegalese Mauritanian citizen, a Berkeley engineer and Stanford MBA grad who fluently speaks Arabic, French and English.
